Welcome to Athens
Wednesday, May 27th
We kicked off the weekend with welcome drinks at a lovely cocktail bar in downtown Athens, everyone dressed for a summer evening in the city.
Rooftop Dinner
Thursday, May 28th
We watched the sun set over the Acropolis and shared a traditional Greek dinner that got the party started, all of us in summer cocktail attire.
Wedding Ceremony & Reception
Saturday, May 30th
Cocktail hour gave way to a ceremony overlooking the sea, then dinner and dancing under the stars — an unforgettable night in summer formal attire.

New York, NY
Joshua and Norine meet while in university in New York City.
Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Norine convinces Joshua to join a group of friends on a spring break trip to Montreal.
Hangzhou, China
Norine comes to visit Joshua in Hangzhou and they travel to Shanghai together. This is when they start dating long distance.
Kaohsiung, Taiwan
Joshua goes to visit Norine while she's living in Taiwan.
Shanghai → New York
Norine moves back to New York City, Joshua moves from Hangzhou to Shanghai, and long distance is even "longer."
Athens, Greece
Joshua and Norine meet up in Athens, Greece for vacation and fall in love with Greece.
Shanghai, China → Auburn, NY
Joshua moves back home to Upstate New York from China while Norine moves from New York, NY to Durham, NC to start medical school.
Auburn, NY → Durham, NC
Joshua moves to Durham, NC in March 2020 to live with Norine.
Durham, NC
In June 2023, Joshua and Norine move into a new townhome on Gurley Street and adopt their first dog, Bosco.
New York, NY
Joshua convinces Norine to go to New York for a "work trip" and they get engaged.
Durham, NC
Joshua and Norine decide Bosco should have a brother, so they adopt Kai.
